BBB 101, An Introduction: 

We discuss what Better Business Bureau is, its goals and mission and also explain all the benefits a business can get by being accredited with us, while also sharing how we educate consumers with our various resources.

Instructor:

Pearl Yon is the Communications Specialist for Better Business Bureau (BBB) serving the San Francisco Bay Area and Northern Coastal California (BBB Oakland). She works to advance BBB’s vision of an ethical marketplace where buyers and sellers trust each other by being proactive in the community and developing relationships with business and consumer groups. Pearl represents BBB at events throughout the Bay Area to educate a wide variety of people. Pearl also helps with the content and management of BBB Oakland’s social media channels.

If you are registered for a class and are unable to attend, please notify the Small Business Development Center at (925) 602-6806 as soon as possible as other applicants may be waitlisted. Attendee substitutions can be made at any time and at no cost. The following cancellation/rescheduling policy applies to all classes unless noted otherwise. Contra Costa SBDC reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a workshop due to insufficient enrollment.
