Writing and Publishing Books

Writing and Publishing Books

Tuesday, May 9, 2017 9:00am to 11:00am

Course Overview: Writing a book is a fun and rewarding thing to do. Many first-time writers just start writing with their primary emphasis on content, style, grammar, etc. Little initial consideration is paid towards writing in a manner that will lead to getting their book published and hopefully getting paid for it.
Consequently, many good books never get published and many potential associated new businesses never occur. This class focuses on the practical considerations associated with writing a book that will ultimately be published and financially successful (and create new businesses).

This course is taught by Victor Johnson, PE who was a part owner and Chief Marketing Officer of two small firms that grew in size to be listed on the NYSE and NASDAQ, respectively.
