Speakers

Gerry Barañano

Gerry co-founded Tech Futures Group and serves both as the director and an Entrepreneur in Residence for the organization. In his career, Gerry was VP of Marketing and Sales for companies ranging in size from Fortune 100 to startups. He was instrumental in selling a technology startup for over three billion dollars. As principal of his own company for fifteen years, Gerry provided clients with market-vetted go-to-market strategies to crack the U.S. market.

Charles Eason

Charles is a SBIR/STTR Specialist with the Norcal Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Tech Futures Group (TFG) and has been providing counseling and training on SBIR/STTR since 1995. In addition to providing training and counseling, Mr. Eason has direct experience with the SBIR/STTR program through his company, OPTEMA Development Corporation, which is a past National Science Foundation (NSF) Phase I, Phase II, and Phase IICC STTR award winner.
