Restaurants:  Planning for a New Reality is a weekly cohort for restaurateurs and food business owners to come together to discuss strategies on getting open and staying open during the COVID era.

Each week has a topic of discussion based on a poll.  This week the topic of discussion will be strategies on negotiating your rent or lease.

There will be guest speakers and some takeaway resources and strategies for the first half of the hour and will be followed up by a lively and robust Q & A to the specialists.

Come and learn about success through disruption and why now is the best time to get in there and negotiate better lease and rent terms.

Landlord understand that there will be a 50% or more occupancy rate over the next few years.  The are looking to keep their viable tenants and now is the time to negotiate better terms.  We will be covering:

  • Lease Terms
  • Lowered Rent ~ We are advocating percentage rent for a period of time
  • New Leases and Options
  • Using PPP and EIDL funds to help the negotiation process
  • Exit Strategies
